Outline of the Global COE Program
The 21st century COE achieved the world-best performance in research education. While the global COE continues to seek further development based on past performance, it proposes the international and interdisciplinary education of young researchers and advanced researches based on the concept of materials integration. These education and researches are intensively performed by cooperating with the material-science-related five Departments and Centers (Institute for Material Research; Departments of Metallurgy, Materials Science and Materials Processing, and Department of Applied Physics, Department of Physics, Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Material, and New Industry Creation Hatchery Center).
